REMEx (the Real Estate and Mortgage Exchange) runs remexct.com and its monthly networking events. This page explains what we collect and why.
What you give us
When you fill out a form on this site (the monthly invite list, a sponsor or speaker application, or a contact message), we receive what you enter, such as your name, email, phone, company and trade. We use it to send the invitation you asked for, to answer your message, and to follow up on sponsorship.
What we measure
We use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel) to understand how the site is used. They record things like pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device type, approximate location (city level) and how you found us. We use this to improve the site and to report to our sponsors in total, for example how many people viewed or clicked a sponsor's link. These tools use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Our invitations are sent through Zoho Campaigns, which reports opens and link clicks so we can see which content is useful. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email events@remexct.com to be removed.
Sharing
We don't sell your information. Sponsors receive totals such as views and clicks, not your contact details, unless you ask us to connect you with them. Our service providers (website hosting, analytics, email and event registration through Eventbrite) handle data on our behalf.
